COMPASSION FATIGUE COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to train, while at the same time heal compassion fatigue in people in the helping professions. We will present a myriad of evidence-based treatment modalities that are useful when working with trauma and addictions, then offer the modality itself for participants to learn experientially and gain healing.
COMPASSION FATIGUE COURSE OBJECTIVES
Participants will have learned, practiced and experienced evidence-based, trauma-informed theories and techniques that address not only their clients’ traumas and addictions, but also their own compassion fatigue and addictive compulsions, and should experience some relief from symptoms.
